Deborah Benson Designs will design and produce your unique, hand made custom rug or carpeting! Any style is possible, any size is possible, any color is possible, and almost any fiber is possible!

Choose from wool, silk, hemp, aloe, nettle, or sunpat! All fibers are 100% natural, making them of the highest industry quality, very durable and sustainable. They are all hand made by the most skilled craftsmen.

You may supply your own design, or she will custom design your pattern to coordinate with your specific interior furnishings. You also have the option of choosing a product without a "design." Several unique textures are available and can also be custom colored.

All rugs are hand made, either hand tufted or hand knotted by the most skilled rug makers.

Deborah has been a bedding designer for Tommy Hilfiger's high end Bedding Collection, in New York City. She worked as a rug designer for Stark Carpet in New York City, and then as a sales representative for Tai Ping Carpets in Chicago, Illinois. While working for these companies, she has designed rugs for The Minnesota Historical Society, The S.C.Johnson home, and contributed to the designing of a rug for Donald Trump. Working with interior designers, she has created and produced carpet for the The Bronfman family of Toronto, Canada, and for the owner of The Chicago Tribune's office.

From 2006-2007 she incorporated her own business and opened her 1,300 square foot showroom, where she designed custom rugs and stair runners that were hand made in China. (See Deborah's Hand Made Custom Designed Rugs.)
